Hi, I’m Wendy Taylor — the artist behind Albany Lane Designs.

I’m an illustrator and surface designer with a background in commercial art, marketing, and retail product development. After nearly 20 years working with national brands and the world’s largest retailer, I now create thoughtfully crafted illustrations and pattern-driven artwork inspired by everyday moments, nostalgia, and playful storytelling. My work blends a graphic designer’s eye for composition with a love of hand-drawn detail, creating pieces that translate beautifully across products, print, and collaborative art projects.

I approach every collection with an art director’s eye — considering scale, color, and repeat from the very beginning — so each design feels cohesive, adaptable, and ready for production.
